This is Theo Ellsworth. He draws Some extremely detailed pictures with pen, and then he colored pencils over them. Their really just amazingly well crafted. I especcialy like all of the creatures.

There's something almost Hieronymous (sp?) Bosch about his work, isn't there?
ReplyDeleteHis actual name was Jerome, but he changed it to heironymous, when he was 22, naming it after the town he lived in at the time. It was next to Antwerp in Holland. i agree that his work bears a resemblance but i would say that it is even more along the lines of the anti-art group/lowbrow group.
