Luke Ramsey.
I know it's not portland based but it's northwestish ( that's a word now) based so it's sort of ok to put this on the blog right?

Don't answer that.
Luke Ramsey makes incredibly detailed perfectly colored pieces of art that are a sight to behold. his line work is absolutely perfect, and switches between thick almost childish lines, to tiny near invisible detail lines. Here are some pictures of his work, and a link to his blog, and a link to his company where you can buy his work and support him and the other artists he is friends with.

so like music and stuff?
So surprisingly enough I listen to music on occasion and right now I can not get enough of the new Air album. It's the band at their finest. It came out a while ago, (by a while ago I mean 2009) and it's dreamy and beautiful and filled with songs that make you want to simultaneously dance and pass out to. Here's some youtube beauty and the link to the myspace.

Mike Perry : too cool 4 skool
I Have been a HUGE Mike Perry fan for quite some time so i thought i would share his work with all of you guys. He's a big influence on the art that I create which is probably immediately apparent in his use of repetitive patterns, thin line work and bold splashes of color. His work memorizes me on a daily basis. Anyways... Here's the link to his website, and two pictures that make me smile.

The art of science

So I have a huge love for anything involving science and art combined so when I stumbled across this website I instantly fell in love with everything on it. Above are three pictures that are my personal favorites but almost all of the images on the site are extremely cool and extremely interesting

poster fun

This poster series was created by the Philidelphia based design studio of The Heads of State, and I'm really diggin the style they used. It's part of a series called From Sea to Shining Sea, and includes posters from San Fran, Seattle, New york (pictured), and more. Check out there work here-->https://www.theheadsofstate.com/
